I mean, why? I know why they fall asleep, but why is it that when they wake up, every little movement is like torture? is it just the blood going back through the system?
Answer:
They "fall asleep" because you put pressure on a nerve, so it's just the nerve getting back to normal which causes the pain.
Because the blood is beginning to flow again causing the "tingling" sensation. Personally there have been times when I would jump up and couldn't walk on that leg until it was fully awake. Most of the time I still have 2 pretty good legs.
